ABOUT US

Our mission is to create a safe and encouraging environment for people who are curious about science, technology, engineering, and/or math as well as gender equity issues in order to spread awareness of and solutions to the underrepresentation of women in STEM fields. We also aim to provide female role models in STEM fields and form a supportive community at BHS in which students, especially girls, can explore, experience, learn about, and pursue STEM careers. Since the Fall of 2018, we've been able to host over 35 guest speakers, including a NASA fellow, a UCSF Professor, a department director at a top hospital, a product manager at Dropbox, and many more!
