Guest Speaker: Elizabeth Eck

On Monday, October 12th, 2020, Elizabeth Eck spoke to the STEMinist CLub about her research in biophysics at UC Berkeley. Elizabeth was originally a professional ballet dancer, but she eventually transitioned to biology and attended UC Santa Barbara. There, she completed research in chemical engineering, astrobiology, and lung surfactants. She even traveled to Sweden to complete research that involved mixing components of vesicles. She later moved to Berkeley, CA where she currently attends UC Berkeley as a grad student studying biophysics. Her most recent project is working in the Garcia lab.
