Our second guest speaker of the year! QinQin is a Biophysics PH.D. student at UC Berkeley. Her research is in Evolutionary Dynamics, Biofilms, Biophysics, Self Organization and Ecological Evolution. Developing a label-free method to measure the strength of genetic drift in thousand of microbial colonies from the Keio E. coli gene deletion collection is a key focus of her research.
